The Reformed Church in America

The Reformed Church in America Congregations welcome others into a community of people who worship Christ. grow in faith, and serve their neighbors.

Our Mission

The Reformed Church of Bound Brook is dedicated to teaching and showing by example the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We use our God given gifts to nurture and strengthen each other in order to build an extended family of believers.  We are privileged to welcome people of all backgrounds who find strength in the joy of being a child of God and having Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Our History

The Reformed Church of Bound Brook is part of the Reformed Church in America, the oldest Protestant denomination with a continuous ministry in the United States.  The early Dutch settlers brought the Reformed faith to America when they settled in the vicinity of New York City.  New Amsterdam was the site of the first church established in 1628.  Our church was founded in 1846, with the main building being erected in 1848.  For more than one-hundred and sixty years, The Reformed Church has served South Bound Brook and neighboring communities with faithful witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
